Usually, I’m not so keen on Bubble Gum pink, however… Dolce Vita brings you this Pela hot pink nappa leather criss cross strappy wedge sandals with open toe and back zipper. These beauties are retailing for $166. For Spring, I’d steer away from black and try styling them with some softer neutrals like khaki. Find them here.
Oh what I would do if it were me in that VANS factory! This girl managed to create a pretty heinous pair of shoes. The originals were so cute! I’m looking forward to Spring already
I usually like my sneakers clean and simple, but these are too unique not to comment on. Apparently, the inspiration for the design of the sneaker was found in Dr. Huxtable’s multi-patterened wool sweaters. I don’t think the white grain leather does anything for the shoe however. I love the fabric, but the thought almost seems incomplete. I wish they would have done something a little more natural like the bamboo weave. They’re not yet available in the US, but if you are interested, find them through this Korean retailer Kasina.
These gorgeous sandals are retailing for $395. I can’t say I’m surprised, coming from Alexander Wang. I just want to try them on my feet once! And then around the city for a bit….
I would wear these shoes. The MELISSA Harajuku 111 Red Flock Shoe. MELISSA, the original Jelly shoe, brings us this red Mary Jane with a t-bar, small peep toe and a contrast 3.5” heel with a flocked finish. Get them at Coggles.com.
I would much rather be purchasing these boots right now than posting about them, but c’est la vie… Since I already have a pair of Sorel boots, it is sad to say, but these would be quite an unnecessary yet very pleasing addition to my winter wardrobe! Each boot comes with an alternate fleece lining, is water proof and rated for -30 fahrenheit. Get them now at Concepts (in Cambridge) and any location of The Tannery (which is all over the Boston and Cambridge area).
Check out the LacosteWendell NS SRW. Word is, we’re getting a blizzard this weekend…. too bad I don’t have these guys to wear when I go playing in the snow (which I will most definitely be doing)! This snow boot features a patent foot with an insulated quilted boot and neon yellow laces and trimming details. It’s retailing for $109.
Dollhouse came out with this British Solider mock-up peep-toe bootie. If I weren’t trying to save money, these would be on my feet right now… And they’re only $49! I wouldn’t expect high comfort or quality based on the price. But let’s face it, these aren’t exactly an every day “wear n tear” kinda shoe. Don these with some black cigarette jeans and a tuxedo blazer.
Hello, Ms. Jetson. I don’t even have to say anything about these shoes, they speak for themselves. If you’re lucky enough that you can afford a pair…. I’m happy for you. Me, I’ll just look and dream.
Introducing the Mayhem Wedge Boot from Jeffrey Campbell. These remind me of a men’s boot that I can actually wear. Stay tough in this distressed leather wedge heel lace up boot with buckle strap detail and D loop eyelets. Retailing for $228 at Free People.
The concept developed in the 1970s. The name refers directly to the Indigo-colored aura around this certain type of person. Indigo Children are thought to be strong-willed, intuitive and independent individuals. Along with their clear sense of self-definition and purpose, they are seen as being unusually creative and eccentric. These people are those who resist conformity and embrace change. They have been described as extremely empathic individuals and display an unprecedented level of kindness and sensitivity to the world around them.
