I Feel Naked Without My…

Photoklj 14

… Fill in the blank.

Did you ever have something when you were little that you just never took off? like no matter what, even when you clearly had grown out of it. And one day Mom decides to toss it, hoping you won’t notice for a few days and will think it was lost. Of course little does she know you notice the second it’s missing from your laundry pile. Hm. Anyways, we all have something that we feel naked without! I only got my arabic name plate a few years ago, but I never take it off. Why do we get so attached to these items? It’s like they become a part of our identity.

Jeremy Scott’s FAIL

pop_11515_8-Tiger-Pants

I don’t like to hate, in fact, I encourage positive criticism, but there is only so much that can go by without something having to be said. My “FAIL” posts are kept to a minimum, and I think the reason why I post it at all depends on expectations. I appreciate the outlandish, but sometimes if you push it too far, it just isn’t fun anymore. The fun part is playing Monkey in the Middle between being serious and being playful, between simplicity and extravagance. But maybe that’s just me. It’s certainly not the case for Jeremy Scott. I can not say I’m a fan of this Jeremy Scott X Adidas collab. I really can not think of words to say about this Tiger get-up…. and the triple tongued Addidas??? Gag me.

A look at some of Jeremy Scott’s other FAILS…

And his SUCCESS. This is what you get when you blend the class of Longchamp with the quirkiness of Jeremy Scott….

Nau Down Scarf

309u928_512_2_19

I love the idea of this Down Scarf by Nau. It offers the warmth of down in a compressible, low-profile design. It’s long enough to tie, and the best part….. hidden zipper pockets at each end to double as hand warmers. And let’s be honest, what isn’t exciting about pockets?! Get it in Granite Stripe, Rosin Stripe or Sparrow Stripe. Retailing for $65. Get it here.
