Motherly love: Lisha the Labrador plays surrogate to… tigers, cheetahs, porcupines, and even a pygmy hippo!

After being rejected by their own mother, these 3-month old tiger cubs were taken in by the nine-year-old Labrador. The dog’s amazing ability to make friends with any animal species is documented in these wonderful family snaps taken by her owners.

Stories like this always make me smile. Especially because it gives me hope that my tiger will get along well with my dogs (neither of which I have yet…)
